Web 2.0 Solutions with Oracle WebCenter 11g ReviewLots of changes to WebCenter since this book was published (for example, menu/wizard differences between PS2 and PS3 right off the bat when creating a new application, some of that due to JSR 286 implementation), so keep that in mind if using PS3 or later to do the worked examples.
My main complaint with the book is the broken Paracas example. It almost works, but the final product, either using the supplied code or what you created by doing everything step-by-step, results in the same non-working final product. If you want to see the final table plus pie chart example, build it on your own because what is supplied as the steps - either using PS2 (version the book uses) or PS3 - does not work/render properly (and that's also trying it with IE, Firefox, and Chrome). Wrote to the author several weeks ago and no response.
As far as introducing you to WebCenter overall, the book is decent.
